Aramco Petrol Pump: Saudi Arabian oil giant Aramco marked a major milestone by opening its first branded petrol pump in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore near the famous Liberty Chowk in partnership with Gas & Oil Pakistan Ltd. (GO).

The launch follows Aramco’s recent acquisition of a 40% stake in GO, one of Pakistan’s leading oil marketing companies, and heralds a new era in Pakistan’s fuel industry, where premium fuel quality and superior service will become key as energy demand across the country is growing in the country.

To celebrate the opening, Aramco petrol pump is also offering a special promotion: customers who fill up 30 liters of fuel will receive Zam Zam water, dates, and Rs. 100 cashback. The aim of this initiative is to provide customers with a unique and rewarding experience.

A world leader in energy and chemical production, Aramco supplies nearly one-eighth of the world’s oil, underscoring its extensive expertise and resources. Leveraging GO’s extensive network of over 1,200 petrol stations, this partnership is also strategically positioned to provide high-quality fuel and automotive services across Pakistan.

“This is another milestone in Aramco’s continued growth as we launch our first station in Pakistan, a market with significant potential,” commented Yasser M. Mufti, Aramco’s executive vice president for products and customers.

Khalid Riaz, CEO of GO, expressed similar enthusiasm, stressing that the first Aramco-branded station in Lahore demonstrates their shared commitment to improving industry standards. “Together with Aramco, we aim to transform Pakistan’s retail fuel industry by setting new benchmarks for quality, service, and customer satisfaction,” added Riaz.

Rooted in long-standing diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, this cooperation goes beyond mere trade expansion. Saudi Arabia hosts more than 2.7 million Pakistani expatriates and is Pakistan’s largest source of remittances.

Aramco’s entry into Pakistan’s fuel sector not only reshapes the energy landscape but also strengthens ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, underscoring a shared commitment to growth, reliability, and innovation.
