Changan Karvaan Plus New Variant: Price, Specs & Features
Pakistan’s Changan has introduced an upgraded engine in its MPV, the Changan Karvaan Plus. The 1.2L EA-12, 14 DOHC engine produces 96.5 horsepower and 119 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
“The new 1200cc engine has 42% more power and gives 20% better fuel efficiency,” the automaker said in a social media post. Meanwhile, a company official told us, “The upgraded engine delivers higher speeds at low rpm. Meanwhile, the improved transmission offers better gear shifting, more fuel-efficient drive, and much less cabin noise.”
