Changan Pakistan unveiled its mini electric vehicle, Lumin Mini EV, at PAPS 2024, organized by PAAPAM. Changan Lumin Mini EV: Specs & Features

Let’s start first with the exterior of the Changan Lumin Mini EV.

Changan Lumin Mini EV (Exterior)

The car is 3720 mm long, 1700 mm wide, and 1590 mm high, with a wheelbase of 1980 mm and a ground clearance of 150 mm. It also comes with 14-inch road wheels with covers and 165/70 R14 tire size and has a capacity for four people.

Other notable exterior features also include halogen projector adjustable headlamps and trailing headlamps, DRLs, LED turn signals, a remote vehicle search system, hidden exterior door handles, power windows, and side mirror indicators.

Available exterior colors are Wheat Yellow, Sakura Pink, Flesh Green, Misty White, and Magpie Grey.

Changan Lumin Mini EV (Interior)

The Changan Lumin Mini EV will have two interior variants: light gray-orange and gray-black. Furthermore, the material of the seat is fabric. There is a lever for folding and moving the passenger seat, a rearview mirror with light, a multifunctional electronic power steering, a 12-volt socket, USB ports in the front and back, or air conditioning.

Other options also include a 7-inch LCD display with driving information, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, keyless entry, Apple CarPlay, Push Start, and Smart Key.

Changan Lumin Mini EV (Safety Features)

Safety features of the new mini EV also include dual front airbags, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), automatic door locking that automatically unlocks in the event of a collision, electronic stability program, anti-lock braking system (ABS), EBD, automatic emergency braking (AEB), hill start assist (HHC), rear camera, and two parking sensors.

Changan Lumin Mini EV (Performance)

The car has a front-wheel-drive permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 47 bhp and 83 Nm of torque. Its maximum speed is 101 kilometers per hour.

The Lumin L battery capacity is 27.98 Kw, while the Lumin L DC has a 28.08 Kw Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. Last but not least, the company states a maximum range of 301 kilometers per charge.

Changan Lumin Mini EV (Charging Information)

AC charging time (0-100%) is 10.5 hours in the base variant compared to 10 hours in the highest. Meanwhile, charging time for DC (30-100%) is 35 minutes for the highest variant. The DC charging option is not available in the basic version.

Both variants have regenerative braking and Eco + Sports modes.
