New B-Form: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced the introduction of a special Form B (Birth Registration Certificate) for children above 10 years of age with special security features. According to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the new Form B introduced by NADRA will include fingerprints and photographs as mandatory elements for the first time.

The move will help prevent theft and misuse of children’s identity information, according to Mohsin Naqvi’s statement released by a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Interior. The new Form B will play a significant role in curbing problems such as fake identity cards, illegal passports, and human trafficking, he added.
