No Police Service For E-Chalan Defaulters in Punjab
After seeing a strict drive against drivers without a valid driving license, the provincial police came up with another update. In a tweet, the Lahore Traffic Police informed residents that police services are unavailable until outstanding fines are paid.
So think twice before breaking traffic laws. If there is a traffic violation, the offender will not be able to access facilities such as student permits, duplicates, new licenses, and 14 other facilities. In addition, they will not be able to obtain ID cards or police clearances, among others. The Safe City Punjab, Police Service Center has been integrated for this purpose.
Additionally, a warrant has been issued for license plate vandalism. Action will also be taken against those who cover the plate numbers with black paint or clear numbers.
This decision is aimed at instilling discipline among citizens and reducing traffic regulations. It emphasizes the importance of obeying the rules of the road for the safety and well-being of road users.

Earlier, the traffic police announced facilities such as online registration and renewal of driving licenses so that the process of finding the license is easy and simple.
Online Registration
To make it easier for people, the traffic police have launched an online service for them. This key decision is aimed at simplifying and streamlining the licensing process, given the number of license applicants in the region.
Renew Driving License Online
People can renew their license online. Applicants can renew their license for one, three, five, and ten years. Meanwhile, an international driving license is valid for three years.
People can easily download local and international e-licences, which means candidates no longer need to undergo a physical driving test.
