Pak Suzuki Bikes Prices Soar Up To Rs.20000 – May 2023
Pak Suzuki Bikes Prices – In the fifth price hike of the year, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has hiked the prices of its bikes by up to Rs 20,000. In the previous hike, bike prices were increased by up to Rs 46,000. This development came after the other two big bike companies in Pakistan (Honda and Yamaha) increased the prices of their bikes.
Although Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has not updated the prices on their official website, it has informed the dealers about the new prices of its two-wheelers. As of May 9th, 2023 factory prices for Suzuki bikes will be as follows:

This price increase seems unreasonable because if you look at the dollar exchange rate, there is the same or minor difference (not significant) compared to the previous price increase date (7-Apr-2023). On this date, 1 US dollar was about 284.65 PKR. Today (9-May-2023), 1 USD is around 284 PKR (Interbank rate – Forex.pk).
Sales of Suzuki bikes are falling every year. Consumers have responded to these unfair price increases. Because of the LC problem, Suzuki was forced to close the production plant. All these factors will have a negative impact on sales in the coming days.

Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has officially informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) about the temporary closure of its car and bicycle assembly plant. The company cited a lack of inventory as the reason for the decision. The Suzuki plant of Cars and Bikes will be closed from May 2 to May 9, 2023 as PSMC addresses some inventory issues.
