The National Database and Registration Office (NADRA) explained that biometric verification problems are not caused by its system.

According to a NADRA spokesman, identity verification through the “Verisys” system is available to all financial institutions. Banks and financial institutions can use NADRA services if necessary.

NADRA also stated that in cooperation with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the Pakistani telecommunications office (PTA), it introduces the system of facial verification.

After completing the process, this facility will be available to all banks and telecommunications operations, Nadra spokesman said.

Previously, the National Database and Registration Office issued a clarification concerning the process of registration of the “B” form and stated that the previously issued “B” forms will remain valid and have not been canceled.

According to an official post on the social media of NADRA, parents of children who have already acquired the form “B” and need to apply for a passport or those aged 10 to 18 who apply for the “B” form for the first time were to visit their closest center for the first time at the National Database and Registration Authority office with a child.

In addition, parents can also submit their applications via the Nadra Pak Mobile App.

The national database and the registration office assured the public that there was no truth in the rumors of previously issued “B” forms cancellation and recommended individuals to follow their official social media platforms for updates and other information.
