Toyota Pakistan Gifts a Fortuner GR-S to Arshad Nadeem

Indus Motor Company (IMC) celebrated the Olympic gold medal in javelin by gifting Arshad Nadeem a Toyota Fortuner GR-S. It is pertinent to mention that earlier the company announced that the company would be gifting the Corolla Cross to Arshad Nadeem; however, it upgraded. In a post on social media, the automaker wrote that since 2023, Indus Motor Company proudly stands behind Arshad Nadeem, who has worked tirelessly to reach the stars.

“To compliment the young Olympian’s heroic victory, IMC presented Arshad Nadeem with his high-end Toyota Fortuner GRS as a gesture of appreciation at a ceremony at its Karachi manufacturing facility,” said IMC, adding that we are proud. to have him as part of our journey and look forward to riding forward together.

IMC’s top management, including CEO Ali Asghar Jamali, was present at the event. Expressing his happiness, Jamali said that the company is excited to have Arshad Nadeem here. “Arshad’s success is a testament to his hard work and dedication, and we are proud to support athletes like him who make our nation proud,” Jamali said.

Cars as Gifts to Arshad Nadeem 

Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz gifted him a Honda Civic with registration number PAK 9297 to celebrate his record throw of 92.97 meters. The car was presented to him during the Chief Minister’s visit to the athlete’s home. The sportsman also received a Corolla Cross from the Governor of Punjab and a Suzuki Alto from a businessman.

Arshad Nadeem won an Olympic gold medal for Pakistan after 32 years. It was Pakistan’s first gold medal by an individual athlete in 40 years, making it a historic achievement for the javelin thrower. The competition was quite interesting for the people of Pakistan, as Arshad’s main competitor was the Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra, who won a silver medal at the Games.
