MG 5 Price In Pakistan 2023 | The Ultimate Features & Specs

MG Pakistan GM Marketing Asif Ahmed has hinted that after introducing several crossover vehicles in the local market, it may also introduce a special sedan – the MG 5 GT. However, it did not reveal the release date or the expected price. So, stay tuned as we will inform you about the start date after exact confirmation.

The MG GT is sold as the MG 5 in some markets. Therefore, we will use the two terms interchangeably in this blog. To avoid confusion, this blog is about sedans, not hatchbacks.

Introduction (MG 5)

MG is a British vehicles and motoring brand founded in 1924. They are famous for their attractive and sporty cars that provide the most exciting and luxurious experience to the users.

From the original MG 14/28 Super Sport Car to the latest electric MG ZS EV, company has always kept its brand innovative and radical in cars.

Because of this, MG is now the fastest growing car brand in Pakistan and all over the world, with a wide range of vehicles including SUVs, sedans and hatchbacks.

MG 5 Price In Pakistan

MG 5 sedan price in Pakistan is estimated between 7.0 million and 8.0 million. In the market, it will compete other sedans i.e. Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla etc.

MG 5 Launch Date In Pakistan

Yet, there is no confirmation, if it will be launches in 2023 or 2024.

MG 5 Sedan Interior

The interior of the MG 5 certainly looks amazing. And yes, when it comes to the car interior, no other car can beat it. A hexagon pattern or 3D diamond design runs in the middle of the dashboard which takes the beauty of the dashboard to the next level.

The MG 5’s fully digital instrument cluster displays all vehicle-related information, including tire pressure as well. The car has the same steering wheel and basic functions as previous MG family cars like MG HS and MG ZS.

Another unique feature is that the top trim version in Pakistan is also available with a paddle shifter. For the convenience of the driver, this car is equipped with a 10-inch screen in the middle that supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Also, it helps hands-free use when you connect the screen to your phone.

Four cameras installed on the front, rear and side mirrors will provide a 360-degree view of the car’s surroundings. This amazing feature will help you drive easily in tight spaces and tight parking spaces.

The MG 5/GT may have air vents and climate control buttons, as well as two USB ports and a lighter. Additionally, a single AC cable and USB port have been installed for the rear passenger of the car.

The comfortable and sporty seats can be adjusted manually in the lower trim. However, in the higher trims you get power seats for extra comfort.

MG 5 Sedan Exterior

The front looks like a Maserati Quattroporte with a sporty grille with a big MG logo in the middle.

This MG 5 sedan is also equipped with daytime running lights and projection lights. The lights turn on automatically when it gets dark. The rear end of this sedan is inspired by the Mercedes C-Class, equipped with stunning lava lights.

The company has placed side reflectors on the edges of the bumper. There is also a parking spot on the rear bumper.

From the side, the car looks similar to the Honda Civic X, which adds a nice flow to the car.

Side mirrors has also a great look and amazing features of the 360-view camera.

The sedan will be launched with dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels. Tire size 205/55/R16. However, MG has not specified the exact alloy of the MG 5 version that will be launched in Pakistan.

Although not fully panoramic, MG 5/GT does not come with a sunroof. The reason for not building a full panoramic sunroof is Pakistan’s weather conditions.

MG 5/GT Engine

In Pakistan, the company can offer two variants with CVT automatic transmission:

• 4-cylinder 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with 135 newton meters (Nm) of torque and 119 horsepower (hp).
• 1.5 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with 173bhp and 230Nm of torque.
