In a recent social media post, Pak Suzuki announced an ‘Exchange Bonus’, ‘Purani do, Nai Lo’ offer for those hoping to upgrade their old Suzuki to the new Wagon R.

According to a social media post by Pak Suzuki Motors Pakistan:

“Upgrade to endless joy by exchanging your old car with the new WagonR and enjoy an exchange bonus of Rs.150,000.”

Analysis

The reason for such advertising is the decrease in sales and profits of the company. According to the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association’s (PAMA) report, Pak Suzuki’s annual sales fell by 27%. The company sold 4,101 cars last month, compared to 5,628 units sold in the corresponding period last month.

In terms of monthly sales, Pak Suzuki Motors saw an increase in sales of 16% and sold 4,101 cars against 4,885 in February 2024.

PSMC (Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company) sold Alto 3,373 units, Suzuki Cultus 320 units, Suzuki Wagon R 136 units, Suzuki Swift 663 units, Suzuki Bolan 183 units and Suzuki Ravi 210 units.
