Vehicle Registration in Punjab From the Comfort of Your Home
The process of vehicle registration and ownership in Punjab has been simplified now. Long are the days of standing in line for hours in hot or cold weather. Successive provincial governments have worked to make this process simpler, faster and less difficult, and you can also process it form the comfort of your home.
Get Your Vehicle Registration From Your Home
As mentioned above above, Excise and Taxation in Punjab has launched a new service where their staff will come to your home to register your car or arrange the transfer of ownership depending on the service you need. This service will also be available for cars and motorcycles in the Punjab province. Although the general process will remain the same, there will be some changes as everything will be done from the comfort of your home, including online payments.

How do I Avail this service (Vehicle Registration)?
If you want to use this facility, you must make an appointment first. Here are the steps:
- Call 0800-08786 to make an appointment.
- Once you have made an appointment, you will know when to expect the Excise and Taxation officer.
- You will pay online instead of visiting Excise & Taxation office.
- The PSID number required to complete the online registration/transfer process will be provided to you by the official.
- You will be given a registration number on the spot.
- The officer will collect, scan and send to you via Pakistan Post the mandatory documents required for registration or transfer of ownership.
